The mim is looking for volunteers!

The mim is currently looking for motivated volunteers to join the reception team, both during the week and on weekends. Your main task is to assist the public and distribute the multimedia guides.

Job description / responsibilities:

- welcoming visitors from behind the reception desk and helping them with their questions

- both giving out and taking back the multimedia guides

- giving feedback about your experiences and any problems (with the hardware) there might have been to the coordinator

- volunteering alone or with a fellow volunteer

- occasionally, you accompany public activities

Profile / expectations:

- you can regularly attend on weekends and / or during the week

- you enjoy interacting with an (international) audience

- you like to communicate clearly and in a friendly manner

- you are patient and efficient

- you handle the multi media guides and the accompanying material with care

- you care about customer service

- you keep a cool head at busy times

- you enjoy working with others

- you subscribe to the values and workings of the museum and give feedback to the coordinator

- you are fluent in Dutch, French and English to the extent that you can help the members of the public in an efficient and friendly manner. Other languages are always a plus.

 Offer:

- you will be included in the team of RMAH volunteers for an indefinite period

- you will receive training and a demo

- you will receive a tour of the museum

- you will receive an expense allowance

- you will work in a fascinating environment in the heart of Brussels, a stone's throw from Brussels Central Station
