Tourist buses
By car:
Driving through and finding a parking space in the city centre of Brussels can be difficult due to traffic. For this reason, MIM strongly advises you to use one of the designated car parks located on the outskirts of Brussels (e.g. those close to metro stations Erasme, Delta or Kraainem) to relieve congestion and take public transport to enter the city. If, however, you wish to park your car closer to the museum, we recommend that you use the Congrès-Albertine underground car park (paid parking).
For disabled visitors, two designated parking places can be found in front of the museum entrance.
In January 2018, the Brussels-Capital Region was turned into a Low Emission Zone (LEZ). If you are entering the city in a car or van, check here to find out whether you are allowed to drive your vehicle within the LEZ. If your car does not meet the conditions, we would like to remind you that there are park-and-ride car parks on the access routes leading into Brussels as well as alternative ways to enter the city.
Thank you for taking part in this regional effort to improve air quality and public health.
By bicycle:
In 2009, the Brussels-Capital Region inaugurated a system of shared bicycles. With bike station No. 20 located just outside of the museum, it's easy to take or drop off a bicycle when you visit the museum.
