How was the violin family used in Brussels during the Baroque period? This question is explored during this concert-conference devoted to the Sainte-Gudule collection and the instruments of the violin family associated with it. Works from this collection, imagined by local composers (Fiocco, Brehy, Van Helmont...) are played on copies of early instruments from the MIM and commented on from an organological point of view by Manon Fauconnier.
To mark the 20th anniversary of the Early Music Department.
