Choro no Museu I Clube do Choro de Bruxelas

Choro, also known as chorinho (little cry), is a genre of popular instrumental music that emerged in the 19th century in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Despite its name, choro has a fast rhythm and rather happy tones. In Brazil, choro is often played in rodas (Portuguese for circles), which can be held in private homes, bars or public squares. The musicians play in a circle, and the audience sits around to listen and dance. Choro is also played in many countries around the world.

As part of Brazil's cultural heritage, we invite you to discover and enjoy the CLUBE DO CHORO DE BRUXELAS!
