Broodje Brussel I Jiang Ting

Born in central Mongolia, Jiang Ting began learning the pipa, the Chinese lute, at the age of 4. After studying at the Conservatory of Music and earning a master's degree at the Central Conservatory of Music, she was awarded the prize of excellence at the International Chinese Musical Instruments Soloist Competition and received the top prize at the International Concert Competition for Folk Musical Instruments.

Her music tells profound stories about the Yi people and the joy of the Uyghur people at the arrival of spring. She elegantly paints the beauty of nature, from drops of drizzle to the miracle of new life in spring. Jiang Ting's music is not only enchanting, but also a true ode to nature.
